The intervention should create a minimalist and functional space that takes full advantage of the potential of small areas. The materials and vegetation should be consistent with the building, so that the whole is harmonious.
The garage access wall is covered in rosemary, reducing the impact of the built structure. In the background, a green setting frames the pool and the house, while simultaneously reducing the negative visual impact of the tall neighboring wall. This mass of vegetation is composed of a line of junipers from which three cypress trees rise.
The side and front facades are characterized by a lawn and sparse vegetation, in order to give some spaciousness to the area. The proposed trees, due to their size, provide scale and frame the house. At the same time, being deciduous species, they ensure sun exposure and spatial dynamism. To the south, a Bauhinia and an alignment of night-blooming jasmine are proposed. To the east, we propose a magnolia associated with a myrtle hedge. The existing olive tree is preserved and integrated into the overall composition.
In the northwest passageway, characterized by being a narrow space limited by high walls, a line of medium/large shrubs is proposed to mitigate the visual impact of the buildings. Scenic lighting is proposed along the paved path.
The black of the metal and the earthy tones of the pebbles align with the architectural design. The green of the vegetation contrasts with these neutral tones. The white or pink blooms add visual dynamism while ensuring a harmonious whole.
