The intervention area is located on a north-facing slope and therefore has less sun exposure. Relatively close to a natural drainage line, with somewhat steep slopes, allowing for wide visual panoramas. Located on the edge of a small urban cluster and without bordering buildings, these views are enhanced.

The aim is to create a modern Mediterranean-style garden, in an intervention that should include the planting of native vegetation or vegetation well-adapted to local conditions, the creation of a raised vegetable garden and a seating area with a fire pit. A small, pet-friendly indoor garden will also be included.

The garden is marked by the presence of the building in the center, which rises from the terrain, sometimes by means of suspended platforms. The garden unfolds around it, on platforms that follow the development of the land and are linked by a single main, organic path. Associated with the path, areas with different functions emerge, consistent with the proximity of the dwelling and the expected frequency of use. Next to the road there is more refined areas, with a more elaborate design, a character that becomes simpler and more naturalized as we move northwest. Note that, despite the different functions and designed environments, a unified image is created through form and material, so that the garden is perceived as a whole. These spatial and seasonal variations (dictated by natural cycles) create the dynamism and multifunctionality required of the exterior space. In addition, the visual relationships between the interior and exterior are enhanced, creating interesting axes from the main openings of the building: the rear terrace and the interior garden.

The vegetation is located primarily along the perimeter of the plot to give the house a sense of spaciousness. At the same time, it allows for the creation of different atmospheres, framing of elements, definition of visual axes and, in certain cases, the restriction of passage in areas with steeper slopes. To ensure harmonious plant compositions, a palette of lilac tones was selected, with touches of white, pink and yellow.

The flooring also aims to allude to the Mediterranean garden (gravel covering) and slab.
